- 2 pounds beef stew meat, cubed

- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 bay leaves

Instructions
1. Heat the olive oil in the Gourmia smart pot on the sauté setting.
2. Add the beef, onions, carrots, celery, potatoes and garlic. Sauté for 5 minutes.
3. Add the red wine, beef broth, tomato paste, oregano and bay leaves.
4. Close the lid securely and set the pressure to high. Cook for 45 minutes.
5. When the cooking time is complete, release the pressure and open the lid.
6. Remove the bay leaves and season with salt and pepper.
7. Serve the beef stew with crusty bread or boiled potatoes.
